Comments: I didn't prepare as I had intended, so I spent time in both the 1st and second hours getting my post template together and otherwise organizing myself for the marathon reading session. I'm definitely going to have to lean toward the Read-a-Thon Lite approach this time as I have a number of things that I must do—like laundry and lunch with my parents-in-law. And of course, I'll have to visit with Baby Victoria and her proud parents.
Boy you read fast. Good luck
ReplyDeleteGood luck on your reading!!! Looks like good books
ReplyDeleteSounds like some exciting reads! I've got other things to do also, but I'll try to squeeze as much reading in as I can!
ReplyDeleteRead a thon Lite, I love it. We Mom's are never truly able to devote time just for us, its ok though, it's all good right? Have a ball!
ReplyDeleteYOU CAN DO IT!
ReplyDeleteA very strong start! Keep on reading!
ReplyDeleteThe cover of that Demon Slayer book sure looks like it will be a fun read! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteHaha, Read-a-thon lite! I like the lay-out of your posts, I need to do better :)
ReplyDeleteAngie Fox has another book out? how did I miss that. I enjoyed her first Demon Slayer book and really need to get to the second one. Good luck today!
ReplyDeleteYou do read fast! Sounds like you're on a roll, even if you did lose a little time to prep.
ReplyDeleteGood luck today!
I spent much of the first couple of hours getting "organized" also. I had good intentions last night but my hubby had ummm "other" ideas. . .(lol)
ReplyDeleteRead-a-thon light sounds like what I'll be doing, too. You're off to a great start!
ReplyDeleteRead-a-thon here! I didn't prepare like I should have either, I even had to make a grocery run lol.
ReplyDeleteHave fun getting some good reading time in!
^_^
It looks like you have put in a really good effort so far!! You do read fast :) Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteExcellent progress so far! I also have some other things to do today (darn!) but will read and audiobook as much as possible.
ReplyDeleteGood luck, and happy reading!
I hope your reading day goes well!
ReplyDeleteGood luck reading today and getting everything done that you have planned. Sounds like we are in the same boat since I've got a list of chores to do too. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteGreat title for a first read!
ReplyDeleteI've had to do organizing too, but I think I am pretty well set up now. Enjoy your day and your reading!
ReplyDeleteThe cover looks very intriguing. Great start! Happy read-a-thon!!
ReplyDeleteI wasn't as organised as I wanted to be either, but I have been listening to an audiobook while I get myself together (sort of).
ReplyDeleteHappy Reading!
You're doing great. Keep it up, and happy reading! I haven't prepared myself as well, but hey, sometimes going with the flow makes things easier to handle. :D Good luck!
ReplyDeleteTraditional read-a-thon blessing:
ReplyDeleteMay the bookshelf be there to greet you.
May all the books appeal.
May the fridge be full of tasty snacks;
the words fall soft upon your eyes and until the read-a-thon ends,
may you always hold a book in the palm of your hand.
Good luck today!
sounds like you are having fun which is the whole point of the reathon - great going - many hours left to read!
ReplyDeleteHappy reading and good luck with the challenge! :)
ReplyDeleteI think I'm doing the read-a-thon sort of halfway in between. Or at least, that's my plan. We'll see how it goes!
ReplyDeleteHey, I'm another Texas reader. I'll have to go look up where you're located. I'm in Austin. Now, I've got to get off the computer and go back to reading!!
ReplyDeleteYou're doing great! Glad to find another TX reader in the read-a-thon. I am in Conroe, TX
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great day reading! It looks like you're off to a good start.
ReplyDeleteWow, you read super fast! Good job!
ReplyDeleteOoo you seem to have a busy day ahead of you. Read as much as you can!!!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how you do the read-a-thon as long as you are having fun that is all that's important! Hope you have a lot of fun today and enjoy your reading!
ReplyDeleteNice job on the reading! Keep it up!
ReplyDeleteBest of luck squeezing in all the reading you can! You know, during chores, AUDIOBOOKS are allowed for the readathon and definitely go along way! :-)
